About the E-Book

‘79 Fun and Educational Activities’ provides ideas for parents and early years practitioners, who want to entertain their child/ren, whilst providing the opportunity to learn through play.

At Little Learners Education we believe in the power of play and acknowledge the importance it has on early childhood development. Through play based practical activities children become absorbed in what are doing, they engage in the activity and this results in a multitude of benefits. With this core philosophy we have developed this e-book. 

‘79 Fun and Educational Activities’ provides ideas for parents and early years practitioners, who want to entertain their child/ren, whilst providing the opportunity to learn through play.

Although the e-book was created with toddlers and pre-schoolers in mind, there are a number of activities suitable for all ages, from taste safe activities to exciting science experiments.

This e-book has been divided into 10 chapters, which cover a range of curriculum areas from art and phonics to maths and science. However, learning is holistic so activities will often overlap and link several areas of learning together.

Each chapter is filled with seven play-based, educational activities to dip into and select from. Within each activity there is: *A list of resources with step by step instructions to replicate the learning experience at home. *An accompanying video to support the setup and provide a demonstration of the activity in action by a toddler/pre-schooler.

The activities: *Are easy to set up with your child. *Require minimal preparation. *Use many readily available items found within the home.
